Last week saw the launch of Step 1 of the “step in stone” project with installations, talks, walks and workshops at the Somerset Earth Science Centre, Moons Hill Quarry, Stoke St Micheal BA3 5JU. For up to date info see here
The Centre is open every Wednesday from now until 17 Oct (9am-4pm) and for Special Events.
A great “InspirED” schools workshop on Friday making felted balls with locally sourced wool. 72 balls made in all, ready to be threaded onto steel rods and installed as part of Step 2 of the project from 15 August. (More info to follow nearer the time)
