Binding the Past to the Present Through Remembrance Scattering the Poppies onto the Puttees

 On Tuesday 14 August the poppies were scattered onto the 100 puttees in Salisbury Cathedral’s grounds. This was a very moving  and thought provoking experience.  The puttees laid out gave the feeling of a cemetary, the poppies falling representing the fallen soldiers, falling randomly, poppies growing in the battle fields randomly.    https://www.salisburycathedral.org.uk/content-themes/arts
