On Tuesday 14 August the poppies were scattered onto the 100 puttees in Salisbury Cathedral’s grounds.
This was a very moving and thought provoking experience. The puttees laid out gave the feeling of a cemetary, the poppies falling representing the fallen soldiers, falling randomly, poppies growing in the battle fields randomly.
