Thank you to everyone who has supported me this year from those who have attended my workshops to others who have volunteered to help me at events.
It has been a busy year with a wide range of activities, workshops and events taking place – never a dull moment – here are a few!
I have relined antique suitcases for Ralph Lauren in Regent Street – a very different felting experience, facilitated Discovery Day workshops at Salisbury Museum and at Bemerton Heath, participated in the famous “step in stone” exhibition which was on touring show at Salisbury Arts Centre, exhibited at Rums Eg Summer Open, Bradford on Avon “Small and Beautiful Exhibition in aid of Parkinson’s disease, Mottisfont Open and Salisbury Art Centres “Celebrate – Gathered and Gifted”.
Fun was had at Harnham Church’s Animal Festival making felted animals and also peg weaving at the amazing Salisbury Contemporary Craft and Heritage Festival as well as creating a felted trophy for a hand shearing competition won by a New Zealander! Last, but by no means least I had a brilliant time working the ladies of the WI creating knitted and crochet spoons to be dipped in porcelain ready for a forthcoming exhibition in 2017!
These are a few of my adventures – here’s to more in 2017! Look out for new workshop dates for 2017 coming soon!
Thank you and Merry Christmas!!
