This being the first of what are to be my monthly blogs, I have jotted a few things down that have happened during April 2015!
Firstly and foremost the Grand Move and Opening in New Street! I, SuzieGutteridgeArt, have now relocated to a great space at 21a New Street where I share the building with Bodyfixit.
I will be sending out details of programmed workshops VERY soon!
My participation in “stepinstone”: A project based around both working and disused quarries in the Mendips, where I am working with local materials and joining with other artists working in a range of mediums to provide workshops, exhibitions, guided walks and talks and many other events.
These are a couple of photos of trials which I was trying out last week in the quarry.
Ongoing so watch this space!
Just a reminder that I have been participating in an International exhibition of fine art sculptural paper works entitled “Eau-Fibre-Papier-Matamorphose” at New Brewery Arts, Cirencester. The exhibition runs until 30th May.
Lastly, I am preparing for the Mayfly 2015. A chance to see local artists, photographers, ceramicists and jewellers exhibiting and selling work on Friday 8th May 11am – 9pm and Saturday 9th May 11am – 5pm at The Barn, Farley Farm, Farley SP5 1AD.
